Frequently Asked Questions
How does the billing work at your office?
At the crown clinic we are able to offer you the low price of $799 per crown with no hidden fees because we have cut our overhead expenses. Part of that overhead expense is the time it takes one of our employees to look up your insurance plan, ensure your benefits, and bill and follow your insurance claim. We will not bill your insurance claim for you, however, we will give you the exact form and x-ray to send into your insurance so that you can be reimbursed. The insurance check will come to you at your home address in the mail.
Do I have to pay $799 on the day of service or can I wait until my insurance check comes in?
You will be asked to pay your entire bill on the day of service. Insurance checks will be sent to you in the mail, within one month.
Is it really just $799 per crown? What are the hidden charges?
No hidden charges! $799 per crown, for any crown front or back. No charge for the initial exam/x-rays/second opinion. No charge for a build-up filling (if needed). No charge for crown adjustments afterwards. Even a 3-unit bridge is just $799 per tooth (total: $2397). The only extra charge, which would be a special request not needed in most cases, is a custom stain and glaze. This is an extra $799 per tooth (total: $1598). Our crowns are beautiful without stain and glaze! Only about 3% of patients request the addition of stain and glaze.
How can you be so inexpensive? Is this too good to be true?
You aren’t dreaming: we provide clinically excellent crowns which are beautiful and made from super strong zirconia.
What’s included in the “lifetime warranty”?
Each crown is guaranteed against breakage for the rest of your life. Car accident busts one in half? You’re covered. Crunching on peanut brittle cracks a corner off? You’re covered. Everything we have control over, we cover. What we DON’T cover: tooth decay, periodontal disease, root canals, abscesses, marginal leakage, etc. as those factors are out of our control (we can’t floss and brush for you 😊). We also cover re-cementing our crowns a full 5 years after placement.
